Description MATLAB/SIMULINK ENGINEER (E10-DETO-18-1141-F):

Bowhead is seeking an experienced Matlab/Simulink Engineer to support both technical and operational services in support of Directed Energy (DE) projects within NSWCDD DE and Pulsed Power Division (Code E10).

The Simulink Engineer will:

•Will oversee the application of DE system technologies, deployment, and operations of: High Powered Radio Frequency (HPRF), High Energy Laser (HEL), High Voltage Electrostatic Discharge systems.
•Monitoring existing Radar and CREW systems and technologies for CIED purposes.

The Matlab/Simulink Engineer will also be for responsible for supporting the design, development, reporting, and testing of MATLAB/Simulink computer programs.
Requirements • Requires a Bachelors degree desired and three (3) years of experience developing user-interfaces, controls, and other software tools related to DE-systems and integrating spectrum awareness systems.
• Demonstrated experience with Web Development using HTML/JavaScript and Windows Service development using C#.
• Must have experience with U.S. Navy/Joint DE systems including pulsed power, RF, Laser, and CIED systems and other EMMW-related projects.
• Must have demonstrated experience with MATLAB and Simulink.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently hold and maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
