Description LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (FRCSW-22-1007-W):

Bowhead seeks a Logistics Management Specialist to join our team in San Diego, CA. The Logistician will provide logistics expertise to Site Leads and support personnel in managing all operational aspects, including program execution, growth, and risks management.

The Candidate must be responsive, reliable, detail-oriented, and possess a strong motivation to build a productive relationship with internal and external team members The Logistician will support logistics management functions such as investigating, developing and providing logistic program inputs to program and project documents. These documents may include DMSMS and COTS Management Plans, Integrated Master Schedules, ILS Plans and Acquisition Logistics Support Plans. The Logistician may support the development of Performance-Based Logistics Plans, Business Case Analyses, Life Cycle Support Plans, and product support strategies for acquisition and sustainment milestones.

Essential functions will include:

• Integrate the spectrum of the logistics processes within the operational, acquisition and wholesale environments.
• Responsible for directing the integrated logistics process, developing support policies, procedures and systems, and providing implementation guidance.
• Prepare and implements directives to ensure effective logistics support.
• Establishes and enforces standards to ensure that the assigned work force is properly trained and equipped.
• Develop, initiate, integrate and manage all logistics actions associated with life cycle management of weapon systems, subsystems and equipment.

Requirements • High school/vocational school degree or GED certificate.
• Three (3) years of relevant experience directly related to the management and coordination of personnel and activities in support of the design, development, and production of Logistic Products.
• Two (2) years of experience directly related to the development of logistic program plans, developing budgets and risk mitigation plans.
• Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
