Bowhead seeks a Shop Supervisor to join our vehicle maintenance repair team in support of our customer; Naval Special Warfare (NSW), Civil Engineering Support Equipment (CESE), Material Handling Equipment (MHE), Surface Support Craft (SSC), Watercraft (Jet Ski’s), inboard/outboard motors (IN/OBM), and Ground Support Equipment (GSE).

This Shop Supervisor opportunity is located at Stennis AFB, MS, Virginia Beach, VA and San Diego, CA.

The Shop Supervisor will be available daily to address issues and work flow. The Shop Supervisor will be familiar with military organizations and structure, understand Chain of Command, supply processes, and be skilled in customer service actions.

The Shop Supervisor oversees the job performance of all team members and ensures that the department functions in an efficient manner while producing the desired quality and quantity of work. In addition to managing the day-to-day tactical operations, the Shop Supervisor is a key driver of continuous improvement initiatives to meet annual plan targets in safety, quality, delivery, costs and morale. He or she must maintain thorough knowledge of all process procedures and equipment.

Requirements • Minimum of six (6) years’ experience supervising a large scale dealership or military depot maintenance facility.

• Requires an Associate’s Degree in Automotive Technology and a Automotive Society of Engineers (ASE) Master Certification OR a Master Technician Certificate from a Heavy Truck or Automotive Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently hold an active security clearance at the Public Trust level. US Citizenship is a requirement for this location.
