Description LOGISTICS ANALYST III (NAVEBS-18-0216-F):

Bowhead has a tremendous opportunity for a mid-level Logistics Analyst who would like to take their skills to the next level. We have a full time, fully funded, position for a mid-level Logistician supporting a program located at the Washington Navy Yard. The person filling this position will have the following general duties:

• Supporting the development, planning, organizing, and management of logistics facets for the planning, execution and monitoring of program office product lines.
• Interpreting and applying a wide range of logistics policies for product lines managed by the program office.
• Assessing pertinent logistics issues help ensure the readiness and operational capability of product lines supported by the program office.
• Applying knowledge of principles, practices, responsibilities and requirements of various logistical support services.
• Analyzing and resolving a range of logistics issues and problems.
• Developing Life-Cycle Support Plans (LCSP), manpower analyses, help desk planning support, and training support to include development of Navy Training Support Plans (NTSP).
• Participating in Independent Logistics Assessments.
• Advising the supported Product Line Manager in the development and implementation of comprehensive product support strategies and plans.
Requirements The successful candidate will have all the REQUIRED qualifications. We are particularly looking for candidates who have all of the REQUIRED and, at least, some of the DESIRED qualifications.
Required:
• Current SECRET or higher clearance
• 3-5 years of experience providing lifecycle logistics support as a logistics analyst to an acquisition office
• Experience performing and documenting logistics assessments
• Experience developing life-cycle logistics planning documents, such as those listed above
• Effective communicator, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to work as a member of an integrated government-contractor team
Desired:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• DAU certification in Life Cycle Logistics (Level II or III)
• Experience supporting the Navy Acquisition Community in this type of role

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently hold and be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
