Description PROGRAM FINANCIAL ANALYST (DVA-19-0589-F):

UIC Government Services seeks a Program Financial Analyst (PFA) to join our team in Dahlgren, VA. The Program Financial Analyst will provide financial support on multiple government contracts, monitor program control for multiple Government contracts, both Prime and Subcontractor, and ensure project financials are properly monitored and managed in pursuit of maximizing project profitability and cash flow. This position will support all finance related activities and data calls for assigned projects while ensuring compliance with internal procedures, as well as with Defense Acquisition Regulations (DAR) and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and contract-specific financial requirements.

Essential duties will include:
• Responsible for various financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting and analysis.
• Responds to rate and budget questions and provides explanations to ensure management understanding.
• Review and track expenses and revenues vs. budget and reforecast and analyze fluctuations
• Prepare monthly deliverables
• Assist Program Managers and Administrative staff on various data calls
• Create and update program spend plans
• Assist in the budget & reforecast process
• Evaluate profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the organization as needed
• Develop, maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed
Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree preferred and an additional one or more (1+) years of related experience required (combination of professional experience plus education may be used in lieu of a BA/BS)
• Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects
• Must be detail oriented, with strong organizational and analytical skills
• Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Excel
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
• Knowledge of Deltek Costpoint, Time & Expense, Cobra, and Qlikview a plus

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: There are no security requirements at this time but successful candidates must be able to pass a Background Check with favorable results. Due to the location of this work, US Citizenship is required.
