JOB SUMMARY


This nonexempt position is responsible for the occasional housekeeping duties. Housekeeping personnel must strive to create a work friendly and collaborative environment. Housekeeper will provide a wide variety of cleaning services and other related duties required to keep the facility in a clean and orderly condition. General tasks include but are not limited to;washing linen/towels
clean common areas, bedrooms,and washrooms within the facility while being tasked in a safe work environment.


Essential Functions • Sweep,mop,scrub, strip,extract,wax,buff,vacuums,etc. all types of floors.
• Dust, wipe or clean various surface areas.
• Clean and disinfect vanity and sink,shower stall/tub and walls;shower doors
• Clean and disinfect toilet
• Clean doors:entry and interior doors and knobs
• Clean furnishings
• Use appropriate equipment and cleaning solutions for all tasks.
• Removes and transports trash to the appropriate disposal area.
• Periodically performs a variety of special duties such as certain types of laundry
duties or scheduled cleaning tasks.
• Wash all linens-towels,sheets,pillow slips,blankets when required
• Ensure proper operation of television, lamps and remote.
• Replenish bathroom amenities.
• Mattress turning when required.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to work independently as well as work as part of team.

• Ability to work early morning or evening shifts, as well as days,weekends and holidays.

Requirements Required Experience
• High School Diploma/or Equivalent
• Some combination or education or experience that evidences working
knowledge of cleaning equipment and general cleaning processes.
Preferred Experience Previous experience preferred
Other PhysicalDemands:
• Remaining on one's feet in an upright position at a workstation without moving about for extended periods of time.
• Walking: Moving about on foot
• Lifting: Raising or lowering an object from one level to another (includes upward
pulling) 25-50 lbs.
• Carrying: Transporting an object,usually holding it in the hands or arms, or on the shoulder
• Pushing: Exerting force upon an object so that the object moves away from the force (Includes slapping,striking,kicking and treadle actions)
• Pulling: Exerting force upon an object so that the object moves toward the force
(includes jerking)
• Climbing: Ascending or descending ladders,stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles using feet and legs or hands and arms. Body agility is emphasized
• Balancing: Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking,
standing, crouching, or running on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces;or Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist, requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles
• Handling: Seizing,holding, grasping,turning, or otherwise working with hand or hands. Fingers are involved only to the extent that they are an extension of the hand, such as to turn a switch or shift automobile gears
• Fingering: Picking, pinching, or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand or arm as in handling

Environmental Conditions:
• Work hours may fluctuate outside of normal duty hours.
• Loud noises,and/or extremes of heat or cold.
• Work environment is that of a construction site.
