Description Software Developer - Senior (IEWSD-19-1563-F)

Bowhead seeks a Software Developer, Senior, to support the IEWS-D at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland. The Software Developer position encompasses design, develop, and maintain software for a variety of engineering applications. Work with analysts to understand their analytic or interface requirements.

Essential functions will include:

• Develop tools and interface
• Design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software applications.
• Set operational specifications and formulate and analyze software requirements. Design embedded systems software.

Requirements •Bachelor’s Degree: Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other Engineering or Technical discipline is required. 3 Years of professional database design for new applications may substitute for degree.
•Three (3) years of relevant experience within the last eight (5) years.

Cybersecurity Requirements:
•IA Technical Level: IAT-1
• Personnel Security Stds: IT-II
• Position Sensitivity Designation: Noncritical-sensitive (ADP-II)
• Federal Investigative Stds: TIER 3

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
