Description JUNIOR .NET DEVELOPER (SIR-18-0030-F):

Bowhead seeks a Junior .NET Software Developer to join our Monterey, CA Team in the development of a custom built student management system. A key piece of this repository will be surveys administered to the student. The Junior .NET Developer will work side by side with our business partners to ensure expected quality software is built to serve our customers and clients. Main responsibilities will include the ability to understand the business requirements and therefore be able to build and enhance application support components to support the client’s objectives. A qualified .NET Developer is expected to support production deployment as well as learn the business and technical components of an application and work with their peers to follow enterprise software development methodologies.
Requirements • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related fields

• Requires three (3) or more years’ with information technology as a Web Application developer using .NET, C# or other object oriented programming languages for application development

• Agile certification is a plus (CSM, CSP or PMI-ACP)

• Experience with the Agile development methodology and with secure coding methodologies, database security & security controls, and flexible architecture required

• Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts

• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: An active clearance is currently not required but may be required in the future. US Citizenship is a requirement for this location.
