Bowhead seeks an Application Analyst/Programmer to join our team in Vicksburg, MS. The Application Analyst/Programmer will provide design and development services for desktop, web and/or mobile applications. Qualified candidates must have advanced proficiency in programming languages including OOP, C#, JavaScript, Python, .Net and various mobile development principles and toolkits.

Essential functions will include:

• Assisting in the creation and implementation of procedures for development of the application(s)
• Developing graphic design of user interfaces, architectural design of the system and implementation in relevant programming tools
• May assist in helpdesk tickets for the application(s)
• Providing accurate and complete technical documentation including, but not limited to, source code comments, system and data design documents, data dictionary, release notes, implementation guides and user manuals.

This position will require at least two CONUS trips.

Requirements • A BA/S is preferred but additional experience may be considered for the well qualified candidate. Additionally, candidates must have, or be able to obtain, a Security+ certificate.
• Must have advanced knowledge of the following programming languages: OOP, C#, JavaScript, Python and .Net as well as mobile toolkits.
• Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate effectively, interpret regulatory guidance and identified vulnerabilities to a wide audience. Presentation and strong public speaking skills are required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to obtain a clearance at the Public Trust level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Public Trust clearance at this location.
