Description WAREHOUSE SPECIALIST (CCAD-19-0848-F):

Bowhead seeks a Warehouse Specialist who distributes and balances workload to improve work flow or to accommodate unexpected temporary increases in workload. The Warehouse Specialist monitors work in progress on the PAK lines, responds to customer inquiries, monitors, and process Aircraft on Ground (AOG) and Flight Test issues.

Requires knowledge and capability in various equipment including forklift (up to 6K) and a warehouse tractor (4K) and warehouse trailers. As directed, the Warehouse Specialist performs a variety of warehousing management and hands-on duties that require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan.
Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Minimum of two years direct related experience.

• Material handling equipment (MHE) licensure required in forklift (up to 6K) and warehouse tractor (4K).

• Basic computer/PC knowledge required including; spreadsheet software, word processing software and knowledge of MS Office Suite.

• Must be proficient in reading, writing and speaking effectively in English.

DESIRED SKILLS: Knowledge of government specific tracking/database systems such as LMP, HKDB, ETIDS and FEDLOG highly desired.


SECURITY: Must be capable of obtaining/maintaining a favorable security clearance at the Public Trust level. Current Security Clearance / favorable NACI highly desired. Ability to access and successfully maintain access to government / military installations is a requirement of this position.

Physical Demands: Office Environment - - The environmental conditions consist of computer stations and desks with adequate and adjustable lighting. Chairs are designed to fit the various individuals and the tasks being performed. Ergonomic evaluations are completed as needed, to provide up to date modifications to all work stations.

Applicants may be subject to a pre-employment drug & alcohol screening and/or random drug screen, and must follow UIC’s Non-DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Program requirements. If the position requires, an applicant must pass a pre-employment criminal background history check. All post-secondary education listed on the applicant’s resume/application may be subject to verification.

Where driving may be required or where a rental car must be obtained for business travel purposes, applicants must have a valid driver license for this position and will be subject to verification. In addition, the applicant must pass an in-house, online, driving course to be authorized to drive for company purposes.
