Description BUSINESS ANALYST III (ERDCBO-19-1476-W):

Bowhead is seeking a part time Business Analyst to join our team in Vicksburg, MS to support the ERDC Business Operations division. The Business Analyst will be responsible for reviewing and measuring tactical and strategic activities to ensure all vision and mission goals are met for their data analytics projects. The Business Analyst will be expected to provide recommendations utilizing new initiatives and best practices to improve areas within the project. They will be expected to prepare briefings, talking points and presentation materials and as such should have experience creating and designing graphics and animations to convey these points effectively.

Essential duties will include:

• Organizing and maintaining a repository for project materials
• Managing team collaboration tools for project tracking and analyzing metrics tracking performance
• Providing document editing and drafting including formatting and graphic design
• Preparing documents, charts and other materials for the planning, coordinating and execution tracking of projects including milestones and fiscal information

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree and five to eight (5-8) years of experience is required
• Qualified candidates must have demonstrable graphic arts skills in both creating original digital designs and knowledge of common design tools
• Must have excellent editorial, writing and publishing skills
• Experience with website development and maintenance is a plus
• Advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team


CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Public Trust (NACI) level. Due to the location of this work, US Citizenship is required.
