Description UNIT DEPLOYMENT MANAGER (AFSOC-19-0663-F):

Bowhead seeks Unit Deployment Manager qualified personnel to augment Air Force Special Operations Command’s (AFSOC) 1st Special Operations Wing squadron operations. The focus of work is to support non-flying additional duty positions traditionally filled by rated aircrew members. Position will work as part of an integrated contractor/government workforce providing specialized knowledge, skills and abilities in the responsibilities described below. Location: Hurlburt Field, Florida.

Essential functions:

1. Ensure unit personnel are trained and ready to deploy

2. Assist in providing a local disaster preparation and hurricane evacuation procedures to ensure a smooth deployment process, decreasing risk for military equipment and personnel

3. Maintain knowledge of Air Force Job Qualification Standard (AFJQS) of UDM

4. Maintain GO/NO GO standards for 200 - 400 people

5. Track all tasks listed in the AFJQS

6. Use LOGMOD, UTCs, and Joint Operations Planning Execution Systems (JOPES) in performance of UDM responsibilities

7. Maintain Student Training Materials s in compliance with AFI 11-202, Vol 1and the AFSOC Supplement as well as other applicable directives

8. Provide a copy of the metrics data along with analysis in weekly reports to the Government COR not later than 1000 hours each Friday. Metrics shall address status GO/NO GO task lists and any other contractor or Government identified metric that will facilitate successful performance of contract requirements.

Requirements 1. Current Top Secret Security Clearance

2. Minimum two years experience as an AFSOC Unit Deployment Manager (UDM)

3. Minimum five years experience in an AFSOC Squadron/Group.

4. Experience using LOGMOD and JOPES for mobility purposes.

5. Minimum two years of experience working with Microsoft Access, Excel, and SharePoint

6. Knowledge of Air Force (AF) and Special Ops Forces (SOF) organizational structures, functions and procedures, as well as command relationships and responsibilities

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently hold and be able to maintain a security clearance at the Top Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for clearance at this location.
