Applicants must be 21 years of age.

Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following; other duties may be assigned:
1. Provide customers with top quality customer service in a friendly and positive manner.
2. Provide information and answer questions about the menu, facility and Squaw Valley or be able to locate information.
3. Check identification of customers to make sure they meet age requirements for purchase of alcohol and tobacco products.
4. Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
5. Pour wine and beer.
6. Wash glassware and utensils after each use.
7. Collect payment and operate a cash register.
8. Serve food to customers seated at the bar.
9. Determine when a customer has had too much alcohol.
10. Clean up after customers and clean work area.
11. Order and maintain liquor and bar supplies.
12. Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays.

Required:
1. Effective communication skills, oral & written
2. Strong sense of customer service & safety awareness
3. Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
4. Have a neat & clean appearance in compliance with the company grooming standards
5. Punctual, able to report at scheduled start time
6. Work well as part of a team.
7. Able to remain patient, calm and composed in a fast paced, high volume demanding environment.
Preferred:
1. Knowledgeable about all aspects of the menu, restaurant and Squaw Valley or be able to locate information.

Education and Experience:
Required:
1. High School Diploma or GED
2. Two years bartending experience
3. Must have or be able to obtain a California Food Handlers card.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus.
