Job Summary: Transport guests to and from the resort area using 25 to 40 passenger buses, some with air brakes. Provide reliable and efficient transportation in compliance with the Squaw Valley Safety policies and procedures.

Applicants must be 18 years of age. As a prerequisite, a DOT pre-employment controlled substance drug screen is required.

Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following; other duties may be assigned:
1. Provide customers with top quality customer service in a friendly and positive manner.
2. Inspect vehicles for safety: brakes, mirrors, fluids etc
3. Drive 25 to 40 passenger buses (some with air brakes) with automatic transmissions.
4. Clean and fuel vehicles.
5. Remove snow from vehicles using shovels.
6. Chain up vehicles when weather and road conditions are hazardous.
7. Rebuild tire chains as necessary.
8. Assist with loading skis on buses.
9. Assist with traffic and emergency flares when conditions warrant.
10. Random drug testing is required for this position per DOT regulations.
11. Complete legibly all Company, State and Federally required daily paperwork.
12. Compliant with all State and Federal regulations related to commercial operations.

Education and Experience:
1. High School Diploma or GED
2. One –three years driving experience preferably in a snow area, although not commercially qualified.
3. Possess or the ability to acquire a CA Commercial license with a passenger endorsement, or equivalent from your home State.
4. Current DMV printout (dated within the last 90 days) from the state where license was issued showing clean driving record for last 3 years, or if less than 3 years in the same state, a print out from the state prior to current one covering the period required.
5. For Commercially licensed drivers, report must be a 10 year report.

1. California Class B Driver’s License with passenger endorsement.
2. Air brake endorsement
3. Valid medical card.
4. 3 years bus driving experience preferably in a snow area

Must be capable of occasionally lifting and pushing or pulling 30 lbs or more. Must be capable of climbing movements, walking on uneven terrain, and walking on snow and ice. Must be able to bend, kneel, reach, and crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus.

Indoor/Outdoor: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions.
Hazardous Materials/Noise: The noise level in the work place is usually moderate.
