Job Summary: Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing tableware and kitchen equipment, ensures dishwashing area is neat and orderly.

Applicants must be 16 years of age.

Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following; other duties may be assigned:
1. Wash plates, flatware, glassware, pots, pans and all kitchen equipment using industrial dishwasher. Hand wash delicate and large items as needed.
2. Restock tableware and other supplies in service area and kitchen.
3. Carry bus tubs form service areas to dishwashing station
4. Ensure that all kitchen areas are kept clean, neat and well stocked
5. Keep hallways free of obstructions, floors clean/dry and responsible for frequent trash removal
6. Assist kitchen and bus staff as needed.

4. Have a neat & clean appearance in compliance with the company grooming standards
5. Punctual, able to report at scheduled start time

Education and Experience:
1. Must have or be able to obtain a California Food Handlers card.

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. One to three months experience in food service or customer service

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, see, and hear. Must be capable of walking or standing 90% or more of a normal 8 hour work shift. Must be capable of frequently carrying, lifting. pushing or pulling up to 50lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus.
