Job Summary: Responsible for the management of the purchasing department, including product procurement, product receiving, product delivery, data entry and administrative tasks supporting Squaw Valley | Alpine Meadows Food and Beverage Department.

Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following; other duties may be assigned:
1. Data entry through the Cheftec program including invoice entry, building new inventory items, entering inventory counts.
2. Communication conduit between chefs, managers, Admin and vendors.
3. Enter and submit USFoods orders through the Cheftec program.
4. Maintains F&B accounts payable in good standing by reviewing statements and communicating with vendor AR.
5. Ensure all deliveries are accounted for and delivered to proper venues.
6. Fill and deliver liquor breaks.
7. Credit card reconciliation.
8. Assist in placing orders via PO and credit card.
9. Assist in RTP tie out processes to support Banquet department.
10. Ad hoc data collection and reporting projects.
11. Receive and deliver mail to OVL, review incoming mail and process accordingly.

Management Responsibilities:
1. Leadership: Manage a team of 2-3 employees. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
2. Integrity & Compliance: Comply with Federal and California Labor law in phases of the payroll and employment process; from hiring through termination, as well as all Company policies & procedures.
3. Commitment to Service: Achieve continuous improvement in operational objectives by implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. Contribute information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews
4. Financial: Responsible for creating and maintaining labor budget. Check and manage payroll for overtime, compliance with labor model. Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
5. Safety: Establish, implement, and enforce safety standards in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as State & Federal laws.

1. Effective communication skills, oral and written.
2. Proficient use voice mail and phone systems, computers, email and Microsoft Excel.
3. Capable of multiple tasking, prioritizing, and allocating resources efficiently to meet deadlines.

5. Ability to maintain relationships with all levels of coworker, chefs and managers at multiple venues.
6. Strong sense of customer service and safety awareness. Must be able to seek assistance when necessary.

9. Have a neat and clean appearance in compliance with the company grooming standards.
10. Punctual, able to report at scheduled start time and use time clock.

Education and Experience:
1. Bachelor’s Degree
2. Five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
3. Three years supervisory experience
4. License/certificates/accreditations
