Description SUMMARY:

The role reports to the Sr. Director, Accounting M&A Integration and will primarily be responsible for the accounting of a newly acquired company and for assisting with the acquired company’s subsequent integration into the broader RealPage processes and financial systems. The Sr. Director, Accounting – M&A integration is responsible for managing and coordinating acquisition integration activities across the CAO’s organization which includes Revenue Operations, Payroll, Accounts Payable and General Ledger Activities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform/assist with the accounting for a non-integrated acquired entity including recording billing, accounts receivable, payroll, accounts payable, related reconciliations and other general ledger activity monthly in accordance with GAAP
• Assist management in the integration of this and other acquisitions into the broader RealPage processes and control environment
• Pre-implementation assist management in the review and potential design of controls at the acquired entity
• Implement and train team members on newly designed processes and controls as necessary
• Issue resolution for newly acquired company


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
• Minimum of 5 to 10 years’ experience in an industry accounting department, accounting acquisition integration activities preferred, but not required
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA preferable
• Working knowledge of billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll required. Extensive knowledge in general ledger accounting, account reconciliations and related procedures required
• Detail oriented individual with excellent analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to establish, develop, and maintain productive business relationships at all levels of the organization
• Proficiency with MS products and Visio
• Demonstrated ability to self-motivate and work with dynamic unstructured processes and control environments
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities across several workstreams
• Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work overtime when needed
• Limited travel may be required, less than 5% to 10%
