||In collaboration with Managing Directors, Global Design Directors, Project Directors, Technical Directors, and other Design Directors leads the design and delivery activities of PYR’s integrated Paris/Chicago FF&E project teams. Maintains day-to-day communications
with Owner and Operator FF&E representatives. Ensures project success as measured in client satisfaction, schedule and budget compliance, work quality, team and consultant collaboration and financial profitability.
Understands FF&E design philosophies and current trends throughout the hospitality industry, including planning strategies, design and space planning, overall building design concepts, design software technology and delivery methods.
Understands and responds to the technical implications of FF&E design decisions.
Promotes firm and project goals of excellence in FF&E design, execution and sustainability.
Understands and is able to perform all administrative and management tasks associated with each phase of the FF&E design and technical delivery process.
Understands and is able to develop preliminary FF&E project schedules, budgets and project team work plans.
Defines, monitors and maintains control of the FF&E scope of work and services for the project, including budget, schedule and work plan.
Primary coordinator of all direct communication between the client and firm regarding any FF&E issues.
Responsible for the complete integration of FF&E design and technical aspects of the project.
Responsible for the clear and timely communication of FF&E information to the project team and ensures compliance with the project team’s goals.
Monitors performance of the project team to ensure attainment of the firm’s quality standards and design goals.
Establishes, maintains and documents regular FF&E project related meetings; including client, internal team and consultant meetings.
Ensures the orderly and complete preparation, distribution, and retention of all FF&E written project records.
Considers FF&E risk management issues by monitoring client demands and technical issues in a timely manner to minimize liability.
Responsible for the orderly close-out of projects; including contractual requirements.
Coordinates FF&E staffing resources with Project Directors.
Ensures a positive work atmosphere and assists in supporting the development and retention of quality FF&E staff; including training/development/mentoring.
Develops and maintains successful client relationships.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Professional Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related discipline.
Advanced knowledge of project design process, construction documentation, programming, space planning, furniture specifications as well as materials and finishes.
Strong project budgeting and contract negotiation skills.
Strong working relationships with clients and consultants.
Basic CADD knowledge (Revit a plus).
Strong project management software skills.
Experience in directing, mentoring and coordinating project teams.
Collaborative and professional work ethic.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, listening, writing and client presentation skills.

LEED AP or within 6 months of hire.
NCIDQ or NCARB Required.
