||Senior Campus Planner

Our award-winning design firm is currently seeking to fill a full-time senior campus planner and urban designer position in our growing Austin, Texas office. This candidate will support our global Cities+Sites and Campus Planning Practices. The position is
available immediately, and applications will be accepted until the position has been filled.
WHO WE NEED
Our ideal candidate will fit into our dynamic organization: prospective candidates should have a minimum of a four-year degree in architecture, planning and urban design or a related field and a masters in architecture and/or planning and urban design. Candidates
should have a minimum of eight (8) of experience in campus planning, urban design, or facilities programming. Professional architectural registration or planning certification is desirable. The position is based in Austin, but significant domestic travel is
Candidates for the senior planner/urban designer position should have strong organizational and project management skills and be capable of coordinating multiple facility and master planning projects simultaneously while meeting project budget and schedule
objectives. Candidates must possess strong leadership traits and have developed business development skills which will translate into the growth and success of the firm. Candidates need to have strong interpersonal and communication skills, as they will be
required to facilitate large stakeholder meetings, generate and deliver public presentations, coordinate with internal technical staff and outside consultants, and communicate directly with clients, who frequently include senior administrators and/or elected
officials. The successful candidate will also possess sound judgment and be sensitive to issues of policy and process. Report writing, data/statistical analysis, and graphical analysis skills are also critical.
This position requires the ability to work effectively as a member of our team, yet be a self-starter. The preferred candidate will be able to manage multiple priorities, and complete work under the pressure of deadlines. Experience working in various computer
programs such as MS Office Suite, Rhino, Grasshopper, AutoCAD, SketchUp, InDesign, and Photoshop is essential.
