Internship for Emerging Leaders Program (ELP)
Matrix Service Company’s Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) Internship is designed to recruit college level students who have completed their sophomore or juniors years or are working towards a master’s degree in Construction Management/Science. The program focuses energy on the development of real world skills that will ensure development and growth. The internship is for the summer of 2018.

The internship will include a mix of field and office time in order to give you real world work experience and includes specialized training targeted at developing high-caliber students such as yourself. Upon completion of the internship, you will have gained exposure to our business, the industry and have gained an opportunity see if our ELP program is the right path for you for upon graduation.

Requirements:
• Junior or senior working towards a BS/BA in Construction Science/Management or approved major.
• Demonstrated experience through internships, extracurricular activities, professional experience or community service.
• High level of initiative with a strong desire to learn, acquire new skills and optimize resources.
• Willingness to travel.
• Flexibility to adapt with changing business needs.
• Effective time and project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to think critically, conceptually and understand broad picture perspectives.
• Demonstrated analytical skills and problem solving ability.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with professional presence and demeanor.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in the use of personal computers and technology.
• Submission of three university or professional references.
• Documentation of current good collegiate standing such as with transcripts.
