Late 2018 Romano’s Macaroni Grill acquired Sullivan’s Steakhouse. A 1940’s Chicago-style steakhouse offering the finest Certified Angus Beef; select seafood, lamb and chicken entrees, appetizers, soups, salads, and side dishes (including Sullivan’s renowned au gratin potatoes). Sullivan’s is rooted in the rich tradition of classic steakhouses, but with a lively twist that turns every meal into a night to remember.

SUMMARY:
The Regional Catering Manager is responsible for catering and events sales growth in their assigned market with a primary focus on acquiring large catering and on-premise accounts, generating consistent orders as they target, acquire, and grow sales in their market. The RCM partners with operations management at the regional and restaurant levels in order to ensure alignment, flawless execution and repeat business.
Requirements ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Build a comprehensive regional market sales plan and strategy consistent with the national catering and events sales plan to ensure sales targets are achieved.
• Focus on large national and regional account development utilizing company tools and resources to secure on-going business.
• Organize daily and weekly plans to meet with new and existing clients to solicit catering sales, both on premise and off premise sales.
• Ensure new business prospecting plans and tactics are successfully implemented and achieve plan sales closure targets.
• Maintain market report metrics to ensure catering and events leadership can develop and adjust plans accordingly to achieve sales targets.
• Partner with regional operations management to ensure seamless implementation of plans.
• Maintain CRM data base including client follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and promote repeat business.
• Conduct monthly business updates with catering/events, marketing and operations management to surface customer insights, areas of improvement and plans to improve performance.
• Budget/Forecast sales for each period and ensure fact-based analysis to support business trends
Competency Profile
• Strong influence management skills and can effectively work with multiple stakeholders

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
• 3-5 years of professional sales experience, ideally in food service
• Outstanding communication skills with emphasis on oral communications and presenting to diverse audiences
• Driven, creative and a self-starter
• Able to build and maintain strong external relationships
• Strong influence management skills and can effectively work with multiple stakeholders
