About This Role:
The Domestic Marketing Coordinator supports key marketing initiatives for all of Hunter Industries’ brands which include residential, commercial, and golf irrigation, as well as FX Luminaire and Holm lighting. This includes promotional campaigns, field sales support, content generation, customer communications, marketing research and materials.

Essential Job Functions/Tasks:
1. Assists marketing team with regional and national promotions, product launches, customer loyalty, and branding programs through the creation and support of campaign materials, direct mailings, emails, social media, advertising, promotional items, educational programs, trade shows, web updates and other assigned projects as needed across all business segments.

2. Assists Marketing Services and Sales Managers with the implementation and development of region-specific promotions, presentations, and customer training materials.

3. Supports the creation and distribution of Point-of-Purchase Displays for distributor branches. Works with outside vendors and internal Sales and Marketing teams to understand needs and create impactful product displays and demo kits.

4. Assists with the management of the online promo store, including maintenance of inventory levels, sourcing new items and assessing items based on feedback from stakeholders.

5. Works collaboratively with internal Creative Development team to conceptualize new materials and update existing collateral. Attention to detail and constant communication updates are required when managing projects and driving timely execution.

6. Works interdepartmentally on development, production, review and maintenance of product literature. Tracks progress of these projects to ensure deadlines are met.

7. Coordinates content generation, including but not limited to domestic flyers, brochures, press releases, e-mails, editorial and advertising, by working with internal and external subject matter experts.

8. Coordinates direct mail promotions, including developing cost estimates, postal service requirements and providing information on how to improve campaign effectiveness. Coordinates mailings with fulfillment house.

9. Supports and drives upkeep of marketing databases for key customer segments.

10. Assists with analyzing the effectiveness of promotions by reviewing processes, ROI, and creating communication reports.

Other Job Functions:
Performs other related tasks as assigned, some of which may become essential to the position.

Some travel may be required.

Requirements Education/Training Required:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration, or equivalent experience.

Experience Required:
Minimum three years of experience in marketing and product promotions.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's):
KSA #1: Mechanical and technical abilities to assemble various display equipment and assets.

KSA #2: Problem-solving skills including problem analysis, planning and organizing, decisiveness, decision-making, and judgment.

KSA #3: Ability to self-initiate activities, work within timelines, and work in a team environment.

KSA #4: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and the ability to communication with members across the organization.

KSA #5: Proficient in the use of computers required with a strong knowledge of Microsoft programs.

KSA #6: Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing organizational needs.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's) Preferred:
KSA #7: Knowledge of landscape lighting and/or irrigation design, products, applications and markets in the industry.

Physical Demands:
Ability to sit to use the computer and to perform paperwork activities. Ability to climb stairs to gain access to upper level work area.

Intermittently walking and standing to move about and to perform work within the office, customer locations and field sites. Requires ability to walk on uneven terrain at field sites.

Ability to occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds to assist in set-ups and take-downs at trade shows.

Ability to work in a variety of positions (bending, kneeling, crouching) to perform set-ups and take-downs at trade shows, product change-outs and irrigation system/product troubleshooting.

Manual dexterity and coordination sufficient to set-up and take-down displays at trade shows.

Finger dexterity sufficient to use a computer and to complete paperwork activities.

Visual acuity sufficient to use a computer and to complete paperwork activities.

Hearing sufficient to communicate with individuals in person and by telephone.

Work Environment:
Various locations with varying temperatures, floor surfaces and exposure to seasonal elements.
