Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

  • Lay out, fitting and welding of machined, cast or fabricated components.
  • Set up welding equipment and weld components. Should be fluent with MIG, TIG, STICK, soldering Oxygen & Acetylene as well as spot welding and heat treating.
  • Repair damaged machinery components.
  • Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet requirements and work on production equipment.
  • Ability to use precision inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers and indictors is necessary and interface with Quality Control and others as required.
  • Follow all safety and personnel policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED preferred

5+ years machining experience

 

PHYSICAL  REQUIREMENTS

Will work in a manufacturing environment.  Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, requires prolonged standing, walking, stooping/bending, twisting at waist and reaching at and above the shoulders.
