Perform a wide range of duties to troubleshoot, maintain and repair simple and complex production and facility maintenance on equipment. Assist Maintenance Lead person with maintenance and repair of machines; facility grounds and electrical projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Work safely at all times.
* Must have the skills to stick weld, with heli-arc preferred.
* Use judgment to plan, perform and make decisions as to the sequence of set-ups, operations and processes within the limitations of recognized or standard methods and procedures.
* Meet the company's general requirements for safety, attendance, productivity, quality and team relations.
* Communicate effectively with supervisors, lead persons and operators on all work related matters.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements: Physically capable of moderate to heavy physical efforts equivalent to frequently lifting or moving average weight of parts or materials over 50% of the time. Continuous mental and visual attention when performing diversified operations or activities that require constant alertness; twisting, crouching, pushing/pulling, climbing, bending, kneeling and standing is required over 50% of the time. Work schedule may vary between 8 to 12 hours shifts, with additional overtime possible, including on nights and weekends. Must wear the required PPE. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Industrial maintenance experience is a plus.
