Manage the local hourly payroll to ensure accurate and on time payrolls. Work with supervisors and managers to ensure correct weekly payroll files while remaining consistent to prior pay policies and the local Union Labor Agreement. Duties include: collecting, processing and administration of the weekly payroll using the Ultimate software system. Maintain employee records in the payroll system, Workers compensation wage statements and reporting of wages. Assisting in accounts payable as needed.
High school graduate, Assoc. in Accounting preferred. Five years of experience in an accounting department, with at least one year of training in payroll procedures. Reliability in checking own work to ensure accuracy.
