Description This position will provide planning and accounting support for the Sacramento Molded Fiber Plant. This position will participate in month end close, assist in development of annual budget, and capture and analyze data around the manufacturing process through the use of BPCS, Transition Works, Rate Based Planning tools, and Mainsaver. This position will back up Plant Scheduler to plan and prioritize production of finished goods and raw materials to meet customer requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 Prepare and control general ledger entries
 Perform various duties for month end close process
 Reconcile general ledger accounts
 Assist in CEP process including CEP creation and project closings
 Assist in the construction and maintenance of standard costs
 Provide support to Plant Controller for production reporting, inventory transfers, etc.
 Provide support with month end variance analysis
 Ability to interface with all levels of employees
 Provide support to Plant Controller to assure perpetual inventory accuracy
o Includes auditing and reviewing cycle count process and analysis of inventory adjustments
o When necessary participate in physical counts
 Work with purchasing, receiving and accounts payable to assure Purchase orders are accurately maintained, receiving is completed timely and invoices processed promptly
 All other duties as assigned
Requirements EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
 2-4 years of experience
 Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
 Strong math and computer skills
 Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Excel
 Previous work in a manufacturing environment preferred
 BPCS experience a plus
