Huhtamaki, a leading supplier of drinking cups, frozen desert, and food packaging containers, has an immediate opening for a Finance Associate in the Fulton, New York facility.This is an entry level position with opportunity for growth.

The desired candidate would have an Associate Degree in Accounting and 1-3 years Accounting experience in an office environment preferred. The Finance Associate would need accuracy and speed with data entry and the ability to work within several spreadsheet and database applications. Familiarity with Mill of Material in an ERP system a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The purpose of the Finance Associate is to perform various Accounts Payable tasks including data entry for ERP system, New Item Set Up, weekly and monthly journal entries, three-way match reconciliation, monitor accounts, maintain files and project closing on Capital Projects, reconcile balance sheet accounts, Web Apps expense reporting setup and process Purchasing Cards sign-offs and reporting. The Finance Associate would back up the Cost Analyst with daily and weekly reporting as needed. The successful candidate would have high attention to detail, be well organized, with critical thinking and problem-solving skills to maintain within given deadlines.



High School Diploma or GED and Associates Degree in Accounting required with at least 1-3 year's Accounting experience with accounting experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. The successful Finance Associate candidate would exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent computer abilities and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks under time pressure constraints. .
