The Quality Auditor will assist the Quality Manager in all aspects of maintaining customer satisfaction. This position covers each of the 4 different shifts, A, B, C and De and reports directly to the Quality Manager. The Quality Auditor is responsible for monitoring the PI data collection system and assuring that production is complying with quality requirements. The Quality Auditor will also create COA data to support outgoing shipping requirements as needed. Responsibilities include internal quality audits of processes and procedures; investigating product noncomformities and deviations from quality standards; monitoring test activities; leading and participating in Quality and CI events; performing sanitation inspections; calibration of test equipment; and the training of employees in quality procedures.
Associate Degree in Science, Business, or Engineering Tech preferred. Experience as a SF or RF molding machine operator desirable. Must be able to work 12 hour/shifts and rotate day/nigh shifts. Ability to communicate effectively with good interpersonal skills. Team building and organizational skills required. Experience working in a Lean Manufacturing environment with an understanding of the principles of continuous improvement and six sigma techniques is required. Must be able to research information and analyze data to arrive at valid conclusions, recommendations and plans of action. Possess a basic understanding of word processing and spreadsheet applications, preferably Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).
