This position reports to Business Development Director.  Primary responsibilities are to provide comprehensive financial analysis for all acquisitions/divestitures including: cash flow and net income impact for accretion/dilution calculations, net present value, rate of return, as well as sensitivities to pricing and operating assumptions.  Works with accounting, tax, and treasury to ensure that projects are fully communicated with respect to assumptions, income tax, modeling techniques and results.  Performs strategic corporate target evaluations that include qualitative overviews, net asset valuations, as well as comparable company and transaction analysis.  Assists with transition of projects to both accounting and acquisition due diligence departments with emphasis on identifying key issues.  Interacts with miscellaneous investment bankers to execute confidentiality agreements and prepare initial screenings of acquisitions.  Attends data rooms and contributes detailed financial analysis as required.  Assists and supports project management of transaction opportunities.



This position requires strong financial modeling, accounting, analytical and problem solving abilities, especially as it relates to the energy industry.  Investment banking or related experience strongly preferred. The incumbent should have a thorough understanding of merger analytics, valuation methodologies and both asset and corporate acquisitions and divestitures.  Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential.  Requires bachelor's degree and a minimum of 1-2 years of experience.
