The Senior Field Administrative Specialist is an important support role, effectively assisting each of the various teams that are based in the Big Lake field office.  The types of administrative duties include, but are not limited to, processing invoices, managing employee expenses, providing basic IT support, tracking fleet vehicle usage, managing power and fuel costs, and planning company events.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Code and input invoices in the Open Invoice program/DO2.  Work with Vendors, Supervisors, invoice handlers, and Accounts Payable to ensure the invoice process and coding are accurate.
  • Generate/update informational reports using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point Presentation programs. 
  • Acquire company credit cards for all new employees, and train them on the policies and procedures. 
  • Maintain reports with receipts for all employees.  Ensure all charges are coded/tracked appropriately. 
  • Acquire security badges for all employees and full time contractors at the field location.
  • Request, assign, and track all laptops at the field location.
  • Assist all Employees and Full Time contractors with basic IT functions; loading programs onto the computer, assessing computer errors, setting up work stations, and training on all computer based programs. 
  • Maintain, assign, and track the status of all fleet vehicles. 
  • Administrator of the ROVR Vehicle Monitoring System program, to include liaison between the monitoring system company and EP Energy drivers at the field office.
  • Track and report all Power and Fuel costs related to Lease Operated Expenses.
  • Assist others in tracking and reporting their assigned Lease Operated Expense categories.
  • Plan and coordinate all company Team Building and Main Event type functions, inside or outside of the office setting. 


  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, college preferred
  • Prior Administrative Assistant experience and oil and gas experience preferred
  • Passion to assist others, enabling them to do their jobs well
  • Self-starter, demonstrating initiative, good judgment, and wise decisions
  • Team player, supporting both field-based and Houston-based teams
  • Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power point
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Resourceful and innovative
  • Good business sense
