POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The primary focus of the Multimedia Designer is to conceptualize, create, and deliver assets that range within cross-platform digital work. This can be anything from videos, responsive sites, email campaigns, landing pages, display banners, digital signage, event banners, and on occasion print projects.

The role involves working closely with members of the marketing and marketing operations teams. The multimedia designer will need to be able to interpret creative briefs and produce content that effectively facilitates the following:

  • Marketing brand awareness
  • Lead generation
  • Sales promotional efforts
  • Effective market positioning for each product/service
  • Compliance with brand objectives and standards
  • Service to Ent members
  • Increases in loan, deposit, and market share

This is a role where the individual creates or adjusts attention grabbing materials utilizing strong typographical and design elements that can be applied across both motion graphics, and traditional print media. This is accomplished by conceptualizing designs and illustrations, developing materials and video productions, preparing, proofing, and editing materials for scheduling and deployment.

This role will also create, manage, and schedule email campaigns – manual, triggered, and automated – based on campaign strategies provided by marketing; based on business line goals; member feedback needs; and research needs.

The multimedia designer will be the back-up for the digital marketing specialist, and will have an understanding of banner ad placement, google analytics, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM).

This position requires strong creative and technical competency and the candidate should have in-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud products.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create, proof, and finalize and/or adjust, proof, and finalize assets for member and employee facing projects based on brand guidelines. (Videos, animated assets, banner ads, posters, print ads, digital signage, social media, etc.)
  • Email Campaign Management – creation, proofing, and scheduling of manual, triggered, and/or automated email
  • Asset quality control
  • Digital Marketing Backup
  • Other duties as required

 

EDUCATION:

Knowledge consistent with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related discipline

 

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

3+ years’ of Graphic Arts experience in advertising production, including print and online

 

TECHNICAL OR SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

  • Advanced skills in Adobe and other commonly used graphic arts programs
  • Strong Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and After Effects, and HTML
  • Demonstrated ability to create graphic assets, videos, and animation based on creative briefs within brand guidelines (Demonstrated portfolio showcasing a wide variety of graphic materials).
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator (both oral and written)
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, balance competing priorities
  • Takes initiative and is proactive in determining what needs to be done
  • Ability to work independently and as a team to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrates a high level of internal and external customer service
  • Proficient  with SEO, SEM, Social Media campaign concepts

 

CERTIFICATIONS:

Preferred: Successful completion of any Adobe Certified Associate programs

 

PHYSICAL/PSYCHOLOGICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to think creatively while within brand. Must be able to receive constructive criticism as feedback to improve the product, and not as personal feedback. Must be able to work in an environment where adjustments are made to creative assets throughout development, up to the release of final files. Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time in a climate controlled environment.  Must be able to use fingers, hands, wrists for repetitive tasks such as typing, or using a mouse.  Demands for visual and auditory acuity are typical of an office environment.  Must be able to interact via email, telephone, or in person with diplomacy, tact, and courtesy with all clients under varying circumstances. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
