Description PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Responsible for the complete and accurate accounting of casino financial activities as assigned.
2. Oversees documentation records to support accounting of assets, liabilities, equity, revenue and expenses.
3. Prepares financial schedules, which are accurate, complete and timely as assigned by the accounting manager and the Controller.
4. Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries into accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and documenting business transactions.
5. Analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital.
6. Prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position.
7. Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures.
8. Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
9. Prepares various other reports or projects, as requested.
10. Prepares journal entries as assigned for month end closing, assuring the accuracy and completeness of the final monthly general ledger.
11. Prepares detail financial summaries and schedules as assigned by the accounting manager.
12. Performs other accounting duties such as filing, operating, 10-key, data input and processing, etc.
13. Participates and assists with accounting systems upgrades to ensure data integrity during the transition process. Makes recommendations to existing accounting practices to help maintain and improve functions based on changing requirements.
14. Performs all other work-related duties as assigned.
Requirements Work Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years direct accounting experience in a computerized environment.

Education: BS degree in accounting or related field.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, individual must have knowledge of accounting software, proficient in MS Word, and Excel.

Other Requirements: Good working knowledge of computers, business English. Extensive knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial reporting. Good interactive skills to work with management and other departments. Must demonstrate positive/enthusiastic approach to all assignments. Outstanding attendance/punctuality.
