Description Operating as a regional airline in the United States, Air Wisconsin Airlines performs flying services as a partner with United Airlines.

Currently operating a fleet of CRJ-200 regional jets as United Express, Air Wisconsin Airlines operates throughout the Eastern and Central United States.

With general oversight from the Fleet Performance Manager, the Fleet Performance Specialist will focus on the operation to drive excellent performance and reduce cost. The Fleet Performance Specialist will be familiar and support all Reliability Department Process and work with a variety of departments to perform all assigned tasks.

Job Duties/Responsibilities
• Monitor the daily aircraft operational activity to identify repeat short/long term tail and fleet specific aircraft discrepancies and facilitate their repair.
• When assigned ensures assigned processes and procedures required by the Reliability functions are carried out.
• Perform continuous, methodical monitoring and evaluation of all fleet aircraft system performance including the Corrosion Prevention and Control program to detect trends and identify the root cause of any problems.
• Coordinate and collaborate with Maintenance Planning, Technical Services, Aircraft Components department, Maintenance production, Maintenance Control, Programs and any other internal or external departments to accomplish assigned tasks/goals.
• Focus on driving continuous improvement through root cause analysis for any projects investigated by the Reliability functions.
• Leads and facilitates the development of corrective action plans to the Maintenances organization on any technical matters or procedures required to minimize operational interruptions.
• Routinely briefs Management leaders on project recommendations and status.

• Ensures all corrective actions are implemented within time frames established by the Maintenance Operations Safety Board.
• Analysis data and prepares assigned reports, chart, and graphs.
• Ensure that all specified policies, practices, and procedures are complied with for completion of assigned duties.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.

Requirements Skills Required
• Basic understanding of aircraft system knowledge attained at a school, classes, and or practical experience
• Basic knowledge of policies, processes and procedures for part 121 operator preferred
• Interpret operational data with a goal to uncover ineffective process or procedures
• Basic understanding and familiarity with Technical Manuals and Engineering documents
• Facilitate the creation of technical action plans to ensure flight safety and minimize operational interruptions
• Personnel skills based on collaboration and building group consensus
• Basic understanding of process improvement methodology and Root Cause Analysis preferred
• Effective interpersonal communication
• Attention to detail oriented
• Proficient in MS Office Excel, PowerPoint, and word
• Advanced experience in aircraft system knowledge and troubleshooting techniques preferred
• Experience, schooling in avionics/electronics discipline, and or attained the FCC (General Radiotelephone Operator License) preferred

Education/Experience:
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant license (required, candidates working to attain through experience or completing schooling to attain A&P will be considered).
• Associate degree or higher in Aviation discipline or engineering preferred -OR- equivalent practical career experience can be substituted.
• One to three years of aircraft maintenance or engineering experience in FAR Part 121 Air Carrier or any other experience attained in aircraft maintenance operations (Military, DOD, contract, Cargo, etc.…..) preferred.
• CRJ aircraft maintenance experience, 1-3 years of experience preferred.
